Speaker: CH(MAJ) Mark Smith, USA

Topic: “Pray, and Pray, and Pray Consistently”

About the Topic: Prayer- most of us profess a belief in prayer and a need to pray. Yet, for a plethora of reasons, we often struggle to pray and to pray consistently. Join Chaplain (MAJ) Mark Smith (USA) in this retreat and be encouraged to embrace both a spontaneous and systematic prayer life in 2023. By revisiting the prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 you will be encouraged and helped to cultivate a life of prayer. Topics include: (1) Cultivating a Prayer Life: A method is better than no method! (2) Pursuing an Honorable Life: Your Past does not determine your future! (2) Pursuing God’s Blessing: Reframing and expanding our understanding and pursuit of God’s blessing. (3) Pursuing God’s Power: Living in the strength of Christ. (4) Pursuing God’s Protection: Reframing and expanding our understanding and pursuit of God’s protection upon our lives. What a great way to prepare for the new year by enhancing your prayer life!
