Pastor Keith Peck: “Living Wisely in an Age of Folly”

About the Topic: Multiple sources for knowledge abound at our fingertips today – Google, social media, AI – yet we live in an “Age of Folly”. Like the prophet Jeremiah’s day, right is called wrong, wrong is called right and God’s wisdom is called foolishness. To His people God says, “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise” (Eph. 5:15). But living wisely is challenging in life’s complexity. Proverbs practically instructs us on the nature of wisdom and its application.

About the Speaker: Keith & Gale have served OCF for 40 years as conference speakers and currently in the role of Pastoral Care for OCF Field Staff. They have been married 50 years, and enjoy 5 children and 17 grandchildren. Keith is a pastor, who during his 45 years of pastoral ministry served 30 years in Annapolis, MD, engaging with US Naval Academy faculty, staff and midshipmen.

Concurrent Programs Available: Horsemanship Day Camp (ages 8+), Camp Caleb Day Camp on June 27 (2nd-3rd grade), Camp Caleb Junior (3rd-4th grade), Camp Caleb Adventure (5th-6th grade), and Camp Caleb Challenge (7th-8th grade), and Allegheny Outback! (9th-12th grade)

Horsemanship Day Camp is a great opportunity for kids (ages 8+) attending our Summer R&R program to learn more about horses. Our Wranglers teach aspiring equestrians basic horse anatomy, the essentials of riding equipment, techniques for tacking and grooming a horse, walking and trotting instructions for beginners, and then they’ll all hit the trails to gain real-world experience! Daily devotionals throughout the experience will focus on the lessons we can learn from one of God’s most majestic creatures.

A five-day traditional summer camp program with age-specific programs for rising 2nd-8th graders, Camp Caleb brings military youth into an authentic personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to strengthen their own family and peer relationships, and to prepare them for standing for Jesus Christ as teenagers.

A six-day program for rising 9th graders through recent high school graduates, Allegheny Outback! challenges teens to develop their very own personal knowledge of God by modeling Christ in real-life situations with plenty of adventure along the way.
