Our Impact
From young officer candidates and junior officers to general officers and seasoned retirees; from brand-new believers to lifelong followers of Jesus; from battlefield Bible studies to local churches and chapel sanctuaries; throughout military society and out into the world, OCF continues to advance God’s Kingdom for His glory.
Empowering Christian Leaders in the Military: 81 Years of Impact
For over eight decades since our formation in World War II, Officers’ Christian Fellowship has united military leaders in Biblical fellowship and growth to equip them for authentic, Christlike service integrated across all aspects of their lives in order to positively impact the military community and our nation for God’s glory.
As a member-led ministry focused on uniformed Christian military personnel, we intentionally rely on faithful volunteers to be the hands and feet of our mission. We are a ministry TO the military community by those IN the military community.
Our approach of building up members still wearing the uniform allows OCF to reach into military units and communities because much of our ministry is being conducted by those who are on the ships, in the planes, and wearing the boots on the ground. They know exactly what their colleagues, neighbors, and friends are going through because they are experiencing it with them.
By God’s grace, OCF’s impact spans across generations to all levels of military service and spiritual journeys from officer candidates to seasoned general officers and retirees, from new believers to lifelong followers of Christ, from battlefield Bible studies to local churches and chapel sanctuaries wherever God places us in military society and throughout the remotest corners of the world.
Thank you for co-laboring with us to reach the military community for Christ!
In the midst of events unfolding across our nation and around the world, we have seen God’s continued blessing through:
- Substantially increased ministry growth, including in our local fellowships, Service Academies, Conference Centers, and our first ever full-time ROTC position.
- Expanded infrastructure to support the transformational heart and life change we are witnessing across the ministry.
- Robust revitalization of Regional Coordinators, enabling shepherding of fellowship groups in Europe and Asia in addition to approximately 80% of the U.S.
- Closing the past fiscal year solidly in the black.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen!” (Ephesians 3:20-21, ESV).
